As a Trekking Guide with Trekking Compass, you will lead groups of adventurers on exhilarating treks through some of the world's most stunning natural landscapes. Each trek offers a unique and unforgettable experience, from snow-capped mountain peaks to lush rainforests. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading trekking expeditions, providing participants guidance, support, and local expertise.
• Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants throughout the trek, including managing any potential risks or challenges.
• Sharing knowledge about the local flora, fauna, geography, and culture, enriching the experience for participants.
• Providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive and inclusive group dynamic.
• Handling logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and meals, to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trekking experience.

Requirements:

• We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the outdoors and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess:
• Previous experience as a trekking guide or outdoor adventure leader.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Knowledge of trekking techniques, outdoor safety protocols, and wilderness first aid.
• A love for nature and adventure, with a genuine desire to share that passion with others.
• Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
• Certification in wilderness first aid or outdoor leadership (preferred).

• Adapting to changing conditions and unforeseen challenges with flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Upholding our commitment to environmental stewardship by minimizing our ecological footprint and promoting responsible trekking practices.

Requirements:

We're seeking individuals who are passionate about sharing their love for the outdoors and possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a trek guide or outdoor adventure leader, with a proven track record of guiding successful treks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and connect with people of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong leadership qualities, including decision-making abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to inspire confidence in others.
• Proficiency in wilderness navigation, outdoor risk management, and emergency response protocols.
• A deep respect for nature and a commitment to preserving the environments in which we operate.
• Certification in wilderness first aid, CPR, or other relevant credentials (preferred).
• Fluency in English; additional language skills may be advantageous, depending on the trekking destinations.
